The Duel was an ATV riding challenge issued by the CEO of Polaris to the CEOs of the major ATV manufacturers to prove who builds the toughest ATVs.
I helped convince Polaris’ CEO to bring the fight directly to his competition. To call them out by name. And even to reserve an arena in Vegas where The Duel would take place should his competitors accept the challenge.
Along with my partner, I oversaw a scrappy team of resourceful designers and programmers to create a website where ATV riders could choose the challenges (so everything was fair) and, through a game called Declare A Duel, challenge their friends to digital duels that would be settled through a series of videos I co-directed.
